Anotia or mcrotia, is usually a congenital origin but may be the result of burns, trauma, or may be a sequela of tumor surgery.
Most of these patients want to reconstruction of the auricle because of the emotional stress brought on by this disfigurement.
However, reconstruction of the auricle is one of the most difficult surgery in the plastic surgeon because of their delicately convoluted cartilage frame covered by a fine skin envelope.
In generally, reconstruction of the auricle had been managed by multistaged procedures with retroauricular skin which is covering the autogenous costal cartilage or silastic implant, but recently, one-stage auricular reconstruction with cartilage graft covered by axial temporoparietal fascial flap is reported.
This paper represents the authors 2 cases of auricular reconstruction who are postburn deformity and upper one third amputation of the auricle.
